History: The School of Education Almeida Garrett was recognized in 1993.
The school has a library (about 3000 volumes), computer room (with 13 computers, all with internet connection), living artistic expression, adequately equipped laboratories (chemistry and biology, geology and mineralogy and microscopy room) spacious halls, auditorium, bar. All rooms and halls have audiovisual media, such as overhead projectors, TV with VCR, projects slides and data show.
