History: The School of Hospitality and Tourism Estoril (ESHTE) created in 1991 by Decree-Law n. 374/91 of 8 October, is a Public Establishment of Polytechnic, under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education .
ESHTE thus constitutes a center of cultural and technical training at tertiary level, to prepare professionals who can meet the challenges facing the business sector and institutional tourism.
Through a scientific and technical preparation objectified according to the needs of the sector, graduates by the year should ESHTE as true agents of change, capable of facing opportunities and challenges in a context of great uncertainty and strong competitiveness.
